Two New Laws for Schools – July 2017
Two new documents have been posted to the OSS website regarding two laws that are set to go into effect for schools as of July 1, 2017.
AB 2246 will require all schools serving pupils in grades 7-12 to enact pupil suicide prevention policies. The Briefing outlining the new law’s requirements can be found at the following link:
SB 1375 will require all schools receiving federal funds to post certain information on their websites regarding Title IX. The Briefing describing those requirements can be found at the following link:
